I'm from the U.K and have just started a Japanese language course.
I currently work at fffunction which is a user centered design agency where I have grown accustom to producing designs based off of intensive user research such as user interviews, personas, user journeys and wireframing. When it comes to moving into visual design I take what was learned from the research and start designing modules in a pattern library, these modules are then used to build out full pages.
I studied Interactive Design at the City of Bath College and then I did a degree in Graphic Communication at Bath Spa University.
My job includes coming up with a design that meet the clients business goals but more importantly the users needs. Once the design has been signed off I then build the templates into a pattern library which our developers can then integrate into a CMS.
